Lionel and I, along with the couple from Brisbane decided to do a 2 day/1 night trek from Mae Hong Son in Northern Thailand. We’ve hired two motorbikes from Chiang Mai, left most of our stuff there, rode to Mae Sariang where we spent a night, and now we’re in Mae Hong Son, where we’ll then travel on to a few other towns before back into Chiang Mai again. Here is a little taste of our latest trek. Think jungle, steep mountains, blaring sun and mosquitoes. Lots and lots of mosquitoes!

Jungle Trekking – Bush Bashing
Went for a mini hike on our second day in the Cameron Highlands. We met a very nice French couple at Orchid Lodge, the night before, and ended up going on a hike with Bastien. He and Audrey had taken Path 1 the day we arrived, and said it was quite a difficult trek, so Lionel and I, being the lazy people we are, decided to tackle Path 10 (an easy, non-challenging trek – some would say, stroll).
